S. Scott Ross is a seasoned construction defect attorney joining our Tampa office as a Senior Attorney. With over two decades of experience, Mr. Ross brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice. He began his legal career in 2000, focusing on healthcare and complex construction defect litigation.

Mr. Ross is actively involved in the legal community, serving as a member of various professional organizations, including the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry, the American Health Lawyers Association, the Florida Society for Healthcare Risk Management and Patient Safety, and more.

Throughout his career, Mr. Ross has been a sought-after speaker and writer on construction law topics. He has presented at conferences, published articles, and authored blog posts on a variety of subjects, including court-ordered non-binding arbitration, construction defect litigation, and healthcare risk management.

Mr. Ross is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Florida. He holds a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Louisville.
