After graduating from Hialeah High School, Nurmis pursued her associate's degree in paralegal studies at Brown Mackie College, where she developed a keen eye for detail and a commitment to advocacy that would shape her future endeavors. Today, Nurmis is the proud mother of four incredible adult children and the doting grandmother of three equally remarkable grandsons.
In her free time, Nurmis indulges in her diverse array of interests, including curling up with a captivating novel, showcasing her culinary prowess in the kitchen, and dancing the night away with family and friends.
