Hunter worked for a gun club while attending the University of Florida where he also competed on the Florida Gator Trap Skeet and Sporting Team helping them win nationals in his senior year. Recently, Hunter has been competing in local action pistol matches however, Hunter still shoots Sporting Clays competitively as well as participating in local charity matches for the local Ducks Unlimited chapter.
Hunter also enjoys bird hunting with his father and has helped him raise several labradors to hunting titles including Master Hunter in the American Kennel Club and Hunting Retriever Champion in the Hunting Retriever Club. Hunter is passionate about giving back to youth shooters and volunteers to coach them when possible, further contributing to the community both inside and outside of the courtroom.
